Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Ravi Lamichhane, who appeared in public for the first time on Thursday after registering his candidacy, performed Swasti Shanti Puja at the Lanka Temple in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4, Chitwan.

He is a candidate for the House of Representatives from Chitwan-2. Lamichhane, who landed at Bharatpur Airport from Kathmandu, went straight to the Laxmi Banktesh Temple in Harikirtan Chowk in Lanka and offered prayers. His secretariat has said that he was not seen at the public event due to a leg injury.

Along with Lamichhane, RSP candidate from Chitwan-1 Hari Dhakal and Chitwan-3 candidate Sobita Gautam also stood and offered prayers at the temple. RSP Chitwan President Krishna Prasad Bhusal said that Lamichhane would stay at his house in Bharatpur-11 Bishal Chowk for a few days.

Lamichhane started staying at the said house when he first ran for the seat from Chitwan-2 in 2079 BS. He did not speak about anything else at the airport or after the prayers.
