President Ram Chandra Poudel was presented with a 'Guard of Honor' by the Japanese government on Tuesday. The Japanese government has presented a 'Guard of Honor' to President Poudel, who is on a four-day visit to Japan.

At the invitation of the Japanese government, President Poudel, along with First Lady Savita Poudel, led a Nepali delegation to Japan on Monday to attend a special ceremony held in Tokyo to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan.

During his visit, he paid a courtesy call on Emperor Naruhito of Japan and Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae today.
