Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has urged voters to question candidates who won by making false promises in past elections but failed to fulfill their promises.

At a meeting organized in Fakira, Rajgadh Rural Municipality-6, Saptari on Tuesday, Chairman Yadav said, "Why was the region not developed even after winning by sharing sweet words and false promises during the elections?" Ask the question.

He urged people to identify such parties and leaders who promise to solve problems such as hospitals, schools, employment, paved roads, irrigation, fertilizers and others in the village but do nothing. Yadav, who has filed his candidacy from Saptari-3, said that the region and district have not been able to develop due to the failure to elect good and responsible leaders. He said, "We should not fail to elect leaders who fight for development along with rights, identity, and self-respect."

Stating that the rights of the backward communities including Madhesis, women, Dalits, indigenous peoples, indigenous peoples, Muslims, minorities and others were ensured due to the Madhesh rebellion, he stressed that now they should work for development along with the remaining rights.
