International diplomatic missions in Nepal have been informed about the House of Representatives elections. Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that representatives of the international community have been informed about the preparations and other issues through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

‘With the aim of informing the international community about the House of Representatives elections, a briefing was held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Commission on 15th Magh for heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and UN agencies in Kathmandu,’ Bhattarai said. ‘In the briefing, representatives of the Election Commission and the Ministry of Home Affairs were also present and informed about the election environment, preparations made by the Election Commission, national and international observation, etc.’
