Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and Election Commission officials have held discussions on security arrangements and compliance with the code of conduct for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

The discussion focused on eliminating undesirable activities that violate the code of conduct to conduct the House of Representatives elections to be held on 21 Falgun in a clean, fair, and fear-free environment.

During the discussion, Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, on behalf of the Commission, expressed interest in the election-oriented peace and security management, monitoring of compliance with the code of conduct, and other issues. Minister Aryal, stating that a strong peace system has been established for the election and that impunity will not be tolerated, pledged to fully mobilize the bodies under the ministry in monitoring compliance with the code of conduct.

The discussion was attended by Minister Aryal, the Home Secretary, the Head of the Ministry's Security and Coordination Division, and other officials from the Commission, including the Chief Election Commissioner, Commissioner, and Secretary of the Commission.
