A fire on the top floor of Hotel Woodland on Durbar Marg in Kathmandu has been brought under control.
. According to the hotel operators, the fire broke out around 9 am. Eyewitnesses said that the fire broke out on the upper floor of the hotel.

According to Kathmandu Police Range DSP Kaushal Budhathoki, fire engines from Kathmandu and Lalitpur Metropolitan Cities, as well as Nepal Police, have been mobilized to control the fire.
Nepal Police and Armed Police personnel have also been deployed to control the fire.
