A fire has broken out on the top floor of Hotel Woodland on Durbar Marg in Kathmandu. Police say the fire started in the restaurant there.

According to DSP Kaushal Budhathoki of Kathmandu Police Range, fire engines from Kathmandu, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Nepal Police have been mobilized to control the fire.

Nepal Police and Armed Police personnel have also been deployed to control the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been revealed. Detailed details about the incident are yet to be released.
