Former Madhesh Provincial Assembly member Nagendra Prasad Sinha, who hailed from Ishanath Municipality in Rautahat, has passed away. Sinha, 73, passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
Sinha died while undergoing treatment for a brain hemorrhage at the Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu, informed Anju Jha, Congress leader of Ishanath.
Sinha, who hails from Ishanath Municipality-2, was elected from Rautahat 2 (1) constituency in the 2074 BS Madhesh Provincial Assembly elections on the Nepali Congress ticket. Before that, Sinha had served as the chairman of the former Auraiya VDC for two terms.
Various political parties and social organizations have expressed grief over the death of former provincial MP Sinha.
