UML agrees to support Pralopa candidates in Rukum East and West

It has been mentioned that UML will support Pralopa candidates in Rukum East and West, and Pralopa will seek votes in favor of UML candidates in districts other than Humla and Jumla in Karnali Province and in the districts of the former Rapti Zone.

An agreement has been reached for electoral cooperation between the UML and the Progressive Democratic Party (PRLP).

According to which, it has been mentioned that UML candidates in Rukum East and West will support PROLA candidates and PROLA will seek votes in favor of UML candidates in districts other than Humla and Jumla of Karnali Province and districts of the former Rapti Zone.

According to the agreement signed by UML Vice President Ram Bahadur Thapa on behalf of UML and President Durga Sob on behalf of PROLA, now the candidacies of UML's direct candidate Nandaram Devkota in Rukum West and Lilamani Gautam in the East will be inactive and UML voters will have to vote for PROLA's Janardan Sharma in the West and Pralopa's Sandeep Pun in the East with the eye symbol.

The agreement has been made public through social media. Janardan Sharma is the same candidate who has been winning from the then Maoists in all elections since 2064. But after the Maoists merged with various parties to form the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Sharma did not join the merger and instead embarked on the process of forming Pralopa.
