33 candidates have filed their candidacies in the upcoming House of Representatives elections in Dolakha on February 21. Out of these, only four are women.

Bimala Shrestha is the candidate from the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party. Similarly, Sharmila Phuyal, Sangita Shrestha and Ramila Sarki have filed their candidacies as independent candidates. 

Central member and youth leader Ajay Babu Shiwakot has filed his candidacy from the Nepali Congress. Similarly, Parbat Gurung has entered the election fray for the third time from the CPN-UML.   Similarly, youth leader Bishal Khadka has filed his candidacy from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP). Young engineer Jagdish Kharel has filed his candidacy from the National Independent Party (RSWP).

Similarly, youth leader Prabin Kumar Thokar has filed his candidacy from the National Democracy Party and Nima Dorji Lama has filed his candidacy from Ujjaya Nepal.

Similarly, 19 independent candidates have filed their candidacies for the House of Representatives. The election atmosphere has heated up as the parties filed their nominations in Charikot on Tuesday, accompanied by tableaux and bajagaja. Immediately after the nominations were filed, the parties have started a door-to-door campaign to reach out to voters.
