Bhupdev Shah of the National Independent Party has filed his candidacy from Achham Constituency No. 2.
Shah, who is also the joint general secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), reached the office of the election officer on Tuesday and registered his nomination for the House of Representatives.
After registering his nomination, Shah said, "It is time for the Achhami people to pay the price for the humiliation they have been suffering for decades."
Shah was the personal secretary of the outgoing mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah.
