Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has left his previous constituency.

He was contesting the parliamentary elections from Kathmandu-4. This time, the Congress has fielded Sachin Timilsina as its candidate in that constituency. President Thapa, on the other hand, has been fielded from Sarlahi-4.

Thapa, who is busy distributing tickets across the country, is preparing to register his candidacy through Wares as it will be late to reach Sarlahi. He has already sent his approval.

Timilsina, who has become a candidate from Kathmandu-4, is the founding president of the Youth Congress and a local resident. He is also a cricket commentator.

Although nominations are to be filed today, the Congress has not been able to finalize candidates for some constituencies.
