According to the Election Commission, 2,017 people have registered their candidacies across the country as of 4:30 pm.

Direct candidacy registration is underway across the country today for the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. The Election Commission has stated that candidacy registration can be done at the election offices of all 165 constituencies across the country until 5 pm.

The commission has already appointed election officers in all the constituencies. The pre-nomination commission has also implemented the election code of conduct from Monday.

There are 18.93 million 5689 voters across the country. The necessary voter roll booklets for nomination purposes have been sent to the election officer offices opened in 165 constituencies.
