The Gen-G martyr family is currently protesting in front of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office, Singha Durbar, with black bands on their heads.
They are protesting because the government has not implemented the decision. Their main demand is that the decision of the Council of Ministers to provide monthly subsistence allowance be implemented immediately.
Roshan Gautam, secretary of the Gen-G Shaheed Parivar Kalyankari Samaj Samiti, says that after running to various ministries, they were forced to sit on a dharna at the Prime Minister's Office. 'We just ran from ministry to ministry. We decided to sit on a dharna at the Prime Minister's Office after we had to carry files,' he said.
