The Nepali Congress, led by Gagan Kumar Thapa, elected through a special general convention, has formed a manifesto preparation committee under Thapa's leadership to prepare the party's manifesto.

Narrating the meeting's decisions to media persons after the meeting, Thapa-led Congress spokesperson Devraj Chalise informed that it has been decided to form a committee under the chairmanship of President Thapa to prepare the party's manifesto.
According to him, the meeting has decided to form an election mobilization committee to actively mobilize the party ranks across the country by focusing on the election.
The leadership of the election mobilization committee has been given to Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma. He said that preparations are also being made to compile past records after the party's second special general convention. He also said that it has been decided to revise and update the proportional list submitted to the Election Commission. The meeting also expressed gratitude to the cadres who attended the special general convention.
