A person who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on the road in Gaurigaun, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13, has died.

The motorcycle driver, Lok Bahadur Sunar, 28, of Ramechhap Municipality-5 and currently residing in Jorpati, Kathmandu, died, informed Kathmandu Subdistrict Traffic Police Office spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi.

Sunar, the motorcycle driver, was seriously injured when his motorcycle (Ba 71 Pa 5889) collided with a tipper (Ba 4 Kha 2898) last night. He died during treatment at KMC Hospital.

A motorcyclist who was injured in the accident is being treated at KMC Hospital. Spokesperson Subedi said that the police have taken the tipper driver into custody.
