With the breakdown of the agreement with Kulman, many such 'edited' statuses of Balendra are appearing on social media.

The online edition of Jana Aastha Weekly has also published a news story about this status. The news published under the title ‘What will be the language of the future Prime Minister?’ states that the statement made by Balendra’s name uses words that are offensive and linked to racial identity towards Kulman Ghising. However, looking at Balendra’s official Facebook page and other verified social media accounts, no such status is seen to have been posted. So far, he has not publicly commented on whether the status is his or not. The viral screenshot appears to have been posted on the Facebook group ‘
Aaren Rai (आरेन राई)
’ by an account named ‘Prince Limbu’ at 4:13 am on Monday. But based on the language used in the status, extremely inaccurate writing, and the choice of words that do not match Balen's usual writing style, it is suspected that the status may be 'edited' or fake. Recently, with the increasing political distance with Kulman Ghising, such 'edited' statuses and screenshots prepared in the name of Balendra Shah have started spreading widely on social media. An 'edited' post reads, 'We want a senior vice president, we want a general secretary, we want a half-term PM. The name of the party had to be changed. We want communism as the then Maoists called it. RSP should not compromise on its existence by giving so much. We should not decide to attack honest workers who are building organizations in the villages in the name of bringing celebrities.'
