Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who arrived in Kathmandu from Dubai on Thursday by chartered plane to inaugurate a Chinese-funded casino in Thamel, Kathmandu, is returning to Mumbai on the same plane on Friday.
He was scheduled to return at 11:30 am on Friday. But due to delays, the time has been postponed to 1:30 pm. Dutt's trip was coordinated by India's VVIP Flight Pvt. Ltd. Services, while Saurabh Travel and Tours obtained permission for the charter flight in Nepal. The charter plane is owned by American company Ryan Aviation Inc. It is a large-cabin commercial jet developed by Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier.
According to an employee managing the charter from Saurabh Travel and Tours, the charter plane arrived in Kathmandu from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai on Thursday with just two passengers, Sanjay Dutt and his assistant. The plane will return from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 1:30 pm on Friday. Sources have said that six more passengers will also board on the way back.
Sanjay Dutt has come to attend an event at Om Badshah Pvt. Ltd. Casino located at Barahi Kathmandu Hotel, located at the main square entering Thamel in Kathmandu. According to Tribhuvan International Airport, Sanjay Dutt used the CIP (Commercially Important Person) terminal during his arrival. This terminal is a facility that can be used by businessmen, artists and celebrities after paying a fee.
