Prime Minister Sushila Karki has been briefed on the progress of the work being done by the Election Commission regarding the upcoming elections.

Prime Minister Karki met with Election Commission officials at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar on Friday to inquire about the progress of the work. The Prime Minister's Secretariat has stated that preparations for implementing the election code of conduct were also discussed on the occasion. 

Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal, Law Minister Anil Kumar Sinha, Education Minister Mahabir Pun, Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal and others were present in the discussion. 

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, Commissioners Janaki Tuladhar, Sagun Shumsher Jabra, Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut and other officials were present on behalf of the Commission.

The upcoming National Assembly elections are scheduled for Magh 11 and the House of Representatives elections for Falgun 11.
