The Election Commission is set to issue the election code of conduct for the upcoming elections from Magh 30.

The Commission made this information after discussing with government ministers including Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Friday. The Commission had informed about the progress made so far, saying that the preparations for the election were being carried out at a rapid pace. 

In the presence of Prime Minister Karki, the Election Commission had informed about the preparations made so far and the remaining work. 

Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal, Law Minister Anil Kumar Sinha, Education Minister Mahabir Pun, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal Suman Raj Aryal and others were present at the discussion held in Baluwatar. 

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, Commissioners Janaki Tuladhar, Sagun Shamsher Jabra, Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut and other officials were present on behalf of the Commission.
