Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun has said that the country's economy will not improve just by traveling abroad. He also said that he is not interested in traveling abroad as a minister.
Minister Pun has clarified on social media that he has received three foreign travel and program invitations and did not go, stating that he has received two invitations so far.
'Come on, I did not go on three foreign trips that I was invited to before becoming a minister. Now I have received two invitations. I want to know about this too. Until the country's economy improves, no matter who the Prime Minister and Finance Minister comes, there will be no progress because money is needed to do anything. Will the economy be built by traveling abroad?,' Minister Pun has written on social media.
He has also made public the invitation letter he received to participate in the ministerial meeting to be held in Jerusalem, Israel from February 4 to 6 and the 'Human Capacity Initiative' program to be held in Saudi Arabia from May 3 to 4.
