Nepal Police has opened the recruitment application for the election police that will be deployed under its jurisdiction for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
The application period is set from Friday to 1st January. The Armed Police Force is also preparing to open applications for the election police in a few days.
The government is mobilizing about 337,000 security personnel for election security. In which, the government is preparing to deploy about 150,000 'election police' (field police) with a 40-day work period.
