US Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson has paid a farewell visit to President Ram Chandra Poudel. Thompson met with Poudel at the President's Residence, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday.
The meeting discussed Nepal-US relations as well as mutual interests and concerns, the President's Office said. Earlier on Sunday, Ambassador Thompson met Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
Thompson was appointed ambassador to Nepal in October 2022. He came to Nepal in place of Randy Berry.
