The Koshi Provincial Government on Thursday formed three important committees to make the work of the Council of Ministers more effective.
The cabinet meeting held today decided to form a committee covering the political, legal and economic-infrastructure sectors with the aim of making policy-making systematic, transparent and result-oriented.
According to the provincial government's Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli, the committees have been formed with the aim of providing opinions and suggestions to the council of ministers, providing advice and assisting in the implementation of decisions in accordance with Section 26 of the Work Performance Regulations 2079 BS.
The meeting has formed a political and administration committee under the coordination of Minister for Tourism, Forest and Environment Bhim Parajuli, a law, justice and provincial affairs committee under the coordination of Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli, and an economic, social and infrastructure committee under the coordination of Minister for Infrastructure Development Pradeep Sunuwar.
Similarly, the cabinet meeting has decided to form the provincial planning commission and amend the work operation order 2075 BS The meeting also assigned Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli as the spokesperson for the Koshi Province government to make public information about the government's decisions and activities more effective.
