Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has said that the development of IT is important for good governance in the country. He said that the development of information technology is also important for making government services efficient and effective and for financial transparency.

program, Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal said that AI is not just a matter of technology but is also becoming an important basis for economic transparency, promoting entrepreneurship and creating jobs.

President Agrawal said that the role of AI is important in making public services effective, reducing business costs and bringing transparency in the decision-making process through digital transformation.

President Agrawal said that maximum achievements should be achieved from limited resources by improving the quality of agriculture, health, education, finance, energy and public services through AI.

In the program, outgoing President of the Chamber, Rajendra Malla, said that sustainable economic development should be achieved through the development of IT.

In the process, an agreement has been signed between the Chamber's IT, Software and Technology Committee and the Union of Information Communication and Technology Nepal on cooperation in the field of information technology and AI. The agreement was signed by the Chamber's IT Committee Chairman, Vigyan Shrestha, and the Union of Information Communication and Technology's General Secretary, Kushal Regmi.
