The meeting has decided to coordinate and collaborate on their respective sides to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the provincial chief secretaries and conduct the elections.
Discussions have been held on further strengthening coordination and cooperation between the federal and provincial governments to conduct the upcoming House of Representatives elections in a clean, fair, peaceful, and fear-free environment.
The meeting chaired by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Tuesday, which was attended by the Home Secretary, Chief Secretaries of all seven provinces, heads of security agencies, and secretaries of the provincial ministries of internal affairs and law, discussed the matter. The meeting decided to coordinate and collaborate with the provincial chief secretaries to effectively carry out their responsibilities and hold the elections, said Anand Kafle, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
