The Election Commission, in consultation with the Judicial Council, has appointed 77 district judges as Chief Election Officers and 88 judicial service officers as election officers in consultation with the Judicial Service Commission.
The commission has also asked to establish the offices of the Chief Returning Officer and Returning Officer within the constituency they are assigned to by Magh 20 to conduct the election work for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for 21 Falgun.
There is a provision for 165 members to be elected through the direct election system and 110 through the proportional election system in the total 275-member House of Representatives.
