A verbal agreement has been reached in talks to resolve the dispute that began over the disappearance of a local youth in Dolpa. The two sides reached a verbal agreement in talks between locals and police at the Tripurakot Police Post in Tripurasundari Municipality-1.

Local intellectual Jang Bahadur Rokaya, who participated in the talks on behalf of the victim, told Kantipur that an agreement was reached to file a case against the four police officers involved in the incident during the talks that lasted about two hours on Sunday afternoon.

According to him, it has been agreed to withdraw the indefinite traffic ban that has been ongoing since the case was registered with the police. The relatives, including his wife, are currently at the District Police Office to file a case.
