The clan-based faction is absent from the Gandaki-level program of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

What you should know

The Gandaki Province Committee of the National Independent Party held a Gandaki Province-level member meeting and large-scale party induction program in Pokhara on Saturday. Leaders and activists of the Kulman Ghising faction's Ujjaya Nepal Party did not participate in the program organized at the dome of the Pokhara Exhibition Center.

Vice President Swarnim Wagle, General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, Spokesperson Manish Jha and other leaders participated in the program . Congress leader Kumar Khadka entered the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with hundreds of people including a bajagaja. UML leader and Rupakot Resort operator Pushpa Adhikari, businessman close to the Congress Milan Thapa, pilot Madan KC, who gained fame by rescuing people from Everest by helicopter, and others entered the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Leaders and activists of the Ujjaya Nepal Party, which came into being through the merger of the party, were not present . Although the newcomers took seats in the places where the party office bearers took their seats, there was no one from the Ujjaya Nepal Party .

Gandaki Province Coordinator of the Ujjaya Nepal Party, Manraj Gurung, said that he did not attend the program on Saturday because he did not receive clear instructions from the center about participating in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) program . ‘There was talk of party unification, but there is no clear instruction on how to join the program of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party,’ he said, ‘Right now we are moving towards expanding the organization.’

District committees have been formed in Kaski, Tanahun and Nawalpur in Gandaki, and while preparations were being made for the announcement in Syangja, Gorkha and Lamjung, the matter of party unification was stopped. ‘There was a call from the provincial committee of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party that we had to participate, and a meeting was going on above. We did not go to say that we had to participate,’ he said.

We will bring 151 seats: Vice President Wagle

At the program, Vice President Dr. Swarnim Wagle said that the goal of the current Rastriya Swatantra Party is to bring 151 seats in the House of Representatives. He mentioned that a clear majority should be brought in the current election to make Nepal a respectable middle-income country within the next 10 years.

Stating that this is not a random resolution, he said that after Balen, Kulman and others join, the Tharu community and the Dalits' grand campaign will also be joined within a day or two. 'Coming with 50/60 seats will not do any good. Apart from making a few mistakes, making one or two leaders with average talent the Prime Minister, and hanging their photos in Singha Durbar, it will not have much of a material impact,' he said, 'Once again, through politics, this country has potential, this country has a future, we can create an environment where all the youth can live and work in this country. We can quickly lay the foundation of good governance.' We also need a clear majority to be able to repeal the laws that are hindering the journey of earning money by staying in Nepal and doing business.'

General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, Spokesperson Manish Jha, Kumar Khadka, who joined the party, central member Shiva Nepali, leaders Samiksha Baskota, Dhananjay Regmi, Shriram Neupane, Gokul Sapkota and others spoke at the program.
