There has been a dispute within the Ujjaya Nepal Party, which is patronized by Kulman Ghising. Dissatisfaction has been seen within the party after its merger with the National Independent Party. Amid the dispute, the Ujjaya Nepal Party had also reached the Election Commission on Friday to understand the proportional list.

According to Election Commission sources, a team including UNEPA Chairman Anup Kumar Upadhyay had reached the Election Commission. After the unity agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the names of 18 people from the UNEPA party were included in the closed list in the commission.

‘We had cut a receipt of fifty thousand to submit the closed list of proportional representation. We had not submitted the closed list,’ said UNEPA Chairman Upadhyay.

They had asked the commission whether it was possible to submit the closed list now. But they returned after the Election Commission replied that the deadline for submitting the closed list had passed and that the Election Commission had gone one step further than that and that it was not possible now.

‘We said that the Commission had gone one step further and that it was not possible now. We replied that according to the existing law, your closed list cannot be taken now,’ said the Commission source, ‘They then returned. ’

Talking to Kantipur, Mahendra Lawati claimed that the Ujjaya Nepal Party has not merged with any party and that various options are being discussed. In response to the question of whether the discussion was with the patron Kulman Ghising or only with you, he replied, ‘We are discussing these issues jointly.’ He also admitted that they had reached the Election Commission. He claimed that they had reached the Election Commission for questioning.
