Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has arrived in Siraha by helicopter to attend a forest banquet. Chief Minister Baniya has arrived here to attend a forest banquet organized by Siraha Congress President Ram Chandra Yadav.
On the occasion of the English New Year, Chairman Yadav had organized a forest feast at Sarre Ambas in Dhangadhimai Municipality-14. Chief Minister Baniya had come here from Hetauda by taking a Mountain Air helicopter for the same forest feast.
In addition, Madhesh Pradesh Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav and Health and Population Minister Jangilal Rai had also arrived for the forest feast. They had arrived for the forest feast using a government vehicle.
When we tried to get a response from Chief Minister Baniya on this issue, he did not come in contact. Baniya's personal secretary Milan Pudasaini claimed that he had gone to Siraha by helicopter at his personal expense.
'The Chief Minister and the Chairman have been close since they were members of the Constituent Assembly, that is why he went there,' Pudasaini told Kantipur, 'But, he used the helicopter at his personal expense.'
