Prime Minister Sushila Karki and National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal have met.

Chairman Dahal met Prime Minister Karki at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Monday. During the meeting, matters including convening the National Assembly session, business required for the session, and coordination between the executive and the legislature were discussed. During the meeting, Chairman Dahal expressed his interest in the government's preparations, saying that it was time to convene the winter session of the National Assembly. Stating that it would be easier for the government to carry out its work when the session of the National Assembly begins, Chairman Dahal had said that the work of the parliament would further help the government in carrying out its work. Informing that the work of repairing the Agriculture Committee hall in Singha Durbar and constructing the National Assembly hall has reached the final stage, Chairman Dahal said that they were ready to conduct the meeting. In response, Prime Minister Karki said that the government was positive about convening the National Assembly session and that a decision would be made soon. During the discussion, it was agreed to convene the National Assembly session in the last week of Poush.

During the meeting, Chairman Dahal drew the Prime Minister's attention to the immediate problems seen in the former parliamentarian forum, including various issues of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, and various projects that were stalled after the formation of the last government.
