The highest number of foreign workers went to Saudi Arabia in the month of Mangsir after obtaining new work permits. 6,442 people went to Saudi Arabia. Of these, 85 were female workers.
According to the Department of Foreign Employment, the country with the highest number of workers going to Bhadra was the United Arab Emirates (UAE). After the UAE's visa restrictions were tightened, Saudi Arabia became the first destination country in Mangsir. An average of 15,000 Nepalis fly to the UAE every month, but only 1,642 people flew in Mangsir.
Although the UAE has adopted a policy of issuing visas based on police reports, it has not yet issued visas to workers like in Bhadra. 3,861 people have also gone to Qatar, the main destination after Saudi Arabia.
The number of people going to Malaysia is 3,440. The Malaysian government has not yet opened all areas.
1,246 people have gone to Romania. According to the department, the number of people who went with new work permits in Mangsir is 28,664. The number of people who came and went on leave in Nepal is 36,087.
