Preparations are underway to conduct the National Assembly meeting from the meeting room of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee located within the Singha Durbar complex.
The meeting room of the Agriculture Committee is undergoing necessary repairs to conduct the meetings of the upcoming session of the National Assembly, informed the Federal Parliament Deputy Secretary Adhiraj Rai.
After the agitators damaged the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor last Bhadra during the Gen-G movement, the homework of conducting the meeting from the Agriculture Committee hall for the National Assembly meeting has been taken forward. He said that work is currently underway in the meeting room, from furniture management to road repair.
‘In order to conduct the meetings of the next session of the National Assembly, we are preparing to conduct the meetings of the assembly by repairing the old National Assembly hall. Currently, the work of managing the furniture inside is going on in full swing. It has reached the final stage,’ he said.
