During interrogation, all three were unable to mention their permanent address in Nepal and could not speak Nepali or their mother tongue. After being taken into custody by immigration, further interrogation revealed that they had gone to Saudi Arabia on handwritten Nepali passports through a gang a decade ago.

Three women who were deported from Saudi Arabia and came to Nepal have been found to have traveled via India 10 years ago using fake passports. It was found that they had changed their photos in their handwritten Nepali passports and reached Saudi Arabia.
The three women had gone to Saudi Arabia stating their permanent addresses in Dhankuta and Jhapa, Nepal. The Nepali embassy in Saudi Arabia had prepared travel documents and sent them to Nepal on Tuesday after they were deported by the government there.
The immigration department at Tribhuvan Airport is questioning those who have been deported. The three deportees had prepared travel documents through the Nepali embassy in the names of Kalmaya Tamang, Indramaya Limbu and Sanumaya Tamang.
During interrogation, the three could not mention their permanent addresses in Nepal and could not speak Nepali or their mother tongue. After further interrogation, the immigration department took them into custody and revealed that they had gone to Saudi Arabia on handwritten Nepali passports through a gang a decade ago.
In addition, preliminary investigations have shown that they are not even Nepali citizens. According to the officer involved in the investigation, there are two Indians and a Bangladeshi woman and it is suspected that they arrived in Saudi Arabia through a gang using fake documents by claiming to be Nepali citizens. The airport immigration has sent all three to the Immigration Department for further investigation, and there are preparations to send them to the police for further investigation.
The three people who arrived in Nepal on Tuesday by Qatar Airways were taken into custody and an investigation was initiated after no evidence was found to prove their nationality. An immigration officer said that the issue of how the embassy made travel documents for those who did not have valid documents to prove their nationality is also a matter of investigation.
The issue of not revealing when they went in the past, where they are from and where their permanent address in Nepal is, not knowing how to speak Nepali and their mother tongue, and not making another passport for so many years despite traveling with a handwritten passport, has led to a detailed investigation, said Ram Chandra Tiwari, Director General of the Immigration Department.
The facts of organized gangs extorting money and sending fake documents from India to various countries have been revealed before.
