Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun has urged students to use their knowledge in service and economic development.
'Let service, not ego, emerge from knowledge, let entrepreneurship and employment flourish,' he said while addressing the 51st convocation ceremony of Tribhuvan University held at Dasharath Stadium, 'You should make knowledge and technology a means of economic development along with awareness, trust, harmony and prosperity and make it a tool against backwardness, illiteracy and poverty.'
Minister Pun said that the key to Nepal's prosperity lies in the hands of the youth and it should be linked to the economy. He said that educational certificates are a sign of one's ability.
