In a meeting of political parties, the Election Commission, security agencies and civil society representatives convened by her on Monday, Prime Minister Karki said that there is a constitutional obligation to hold the election in Falgun. 'The issue of a 6-month election was raised. Since that time was also in accordance with the constitution, we did not have anything to say otherwise. The constitution's obligation that there should not be a period of more than 6 months between the government's term or two sessions of parliament came into play,' she said.
The Prime Minister said that the events of Bhadra 23 and 24 were beyond imagination. 'A terrible incident occurred on Bhadra 23 and 24, beyond imagination and understanding. After that, a change has come. The entire nation realized that there is a need for change. The challenge now is how to bring the youth to the 'front row' and advance them in the country's power and governance. The Prime Minister said that no political party is against the elections. He also said that there is no security challenge in the elections. He urged all political parties to participate in the elections. She also said that if all political parties participate in the elections, there will be no peace and security challenge.
