Bishnu Sada of Inarwa, Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-11, Saptari, who has been earning a living for his family by working as a wage laborer, has realized his dream of riding a new bicycle. After Sada's daily routine was published in the 'Household Expenses' column of 'Kantipur' on Friday, the District Police Office provided him with a new bicycle and clothes to protect him from the cold.
SP Gautam Kumar KC said that he was heartbroken after reading about Bishnu, who is earning a living by working as a wage laborer in Rajbiraj, 9/10 kilometers from his home, repeatedly breaking down on the road, causing more problems.
‘We have provided a small amount of help after seeing that he has a dream of riding a new bicycle,’ he said, ‘We are happy to provide him with a small amount of help with the contribution of all our police colleagues.’
On Saturday, Bishnu was brought to the District Police Office and given a new bicycle and clothes to protect his children from the cold. Despite his desire and need, he was happy to receive the new bicycle with assistance.
‘Although I came to the District Police Office for the first time, I never imagined that the police would make my dream of riding a new bicycle come true for years,’ he added, ‘I am feeling very happy. I will be grateful to all the police officers.’
36-year-old Bishnu has a family of 6, including his mother, father, wife, son and daughter. He took a loan of Rs 100,000 to cover the expenses of his two daughters' weddings, and his salary is barely enough to cover the expenses as he has to pay monthly installments of Rs 5,000.
