The Tulsipur High Court, Butwal Bench has ordered the release of National Independent Party President Rabi Lamichhane on bail.

The court's bench of Chief Justice Vasudev Acharya and Justice Tej Narayan Poudel made the order. The court has ordered a bail of Rs 27.484 crore equivalent to the amount. After the court has demanded bail, he will be released from custody after paying the amount. The court has ordered the release on bail, reversing the previous order to send him to custody for trial, saying that he has also submitted a petition stating that he is ready to pay the amount equivalent to his liability. After this order, Lamichhane, who is in Nakkhu Prison, will be released.
