Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan has expressed his objection to Gen Z changing their tune. He said this while addressing a program organized to mark the 107th founding day of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
He said that the interim government has a mandate to complete the Falgun 21 election and hand over power in accordance with the new public sentiment, and that recently, the Gen-Gs have been raising their voices to not allow the election to be held. He said that this should not be done, saying that the election should be mandatory and that the Gen-Gs should also help to make it successful.
He said, 'The main task of the government that is in place is to complete the Falgun 21 election and hand over to the elected government. But I am feeling a little cold.'
He mentioned that the Gen-Gs have been changing their voices in recent days and saying that they will not allow the election to be held, and said, 'This cannot be said. The election must be held.'
