A joint technical team from the National Park Wildlife Department, the World Wildlife Fund, and the National Trust for Nature Conservation will conduct the census with the help of camera trapping. At that time, the number of tigers in Bardiya had reached 87. When the census was conducted in 2013, there were 50 tigers in Bardiya Park. Four years ago, the number of tigers in Bardiya had reached 125. The park staff estimates that the number of tigers will increase this year.
