Decision to remove the mandatory practice of postage stamps for the authentication of documents in the service delivery process, except as provided in prevailing laws
The government has repealed the provision that required affixing postage stamps to documents other than those specified by law. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held on Monday, informed Minister for Information and Communication Technology Jagadish Kharel.
According to Minister Kharel, Minister for Information Technology and Communications Jagdish Kharel said that in addition to the provisions in the prevailing law, it has been decided to remove the mandatory practice of postage stamps for the authenticity of papers in the service delivery process.
