Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has complained that the police are always the target of all kinds of protests in the country. He said during the inauguration of the reconstructed building of the Bouddha Police Office on Sunday, which was damaged by arson during the Gen-G protests, that the police are being made a vessel when needed and a place when not needed.
‘Basically, the police structures were destroyed this time too. In previous political and other types of movements in Nepal’s history, only the police have been targeted. It is used to make a vessel when needed and a place when not needed,’ he said.
The office structure that was destroyed during the Gen-G movement has been reconstructed.
