During the investigation conducted by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Sunit Prabhag Regmi, 28, of Mahalaxmi-3, Lalitpur, and Ashish Babu Kumal, 28, of Lalitpur-13, have been arrested after it was found that they had altered important details including their date of birth. According to CIB Chief AIG Manoj KC, the investigation was initiated after it was found that they had altered important details including their date of birth. ‘It seems that this work was done for some benefit, we are investigating that,’ KC said, ‘We have now started an investigation by obtaining permission from the court to keep them in custody for 5 days for investigation on charges of committing an offense against the National Identity Card and Registration Act, 2076 BS.’
