Nepali Congress Dadeldhura has single-handedly recommended the name of President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba as a candidate in the House of Representatives elections.

The meeting of the Congress Dadeldhura held on Thursday decided to recommend Deuba's single name as a candidate for the direct election to the House of Representatives.

Similarly, the names of Narbhan Kami and Mankumari Thapa have been recommended for proportional representation and Bhim Bahadur Saund and Raghubar Bhatta for the National Assembly, said Congress District Secretary Hemraj Chataut.

President Deuba is preparing to contest the MP election for the eighth time from Dadeldhura. Previously, he had won from Dadeldhura in the elections held in 2048, 051, 056, 064, 070, 074 and 079.
