Prime Minister Sushila Karki has claimed that the agreement between the government and Gen-G has brought a small smile.

Speaking after signing the agreement between Gen-G and the government, the Prime Minister also said that she now wants to see the country run by the youth.

‘Those who lost their lives yesterday are martyrs. We have also prepared a good draft agreement between Gen-G and others so that it can be emulated,’ Karki said. ‘We have signed a common document with the help of experts like Surya Dhungel and senior advocate Raju Chapagain so that it becomes an exemplary and internationally accepted document.’

Prime Minister Karki claimed that this agreement was made so that the youth power can run this country according to their ideas. ‘We want to see the future of our children. What happened on 23 and 24 Bhadra has saddened us. This agreement has brought a small smile,’ the Prime Minister said. ‘It will be published in the Gazette.’ This is a document like the one that was signed between the Maoists and other agitators in the past.’

She expressed her commitment to do everything she could for the martyrs and the injured as long as she is in the government. She also claimed that this one document would not satisfy everyone’s wishes, saying that she wanted the youth to stay in the country and run the country.

The agreement was signed by Prime Minister Sushila Karki on behalf of the government and Bhoj Bikram Thapa, a member of the martyrs’ family, on behalf of Gen-G.
