The Kathmandu District Court has ordered the release of Tenzin Dawa Lama of Tibetan Original Blood (TOB) on bail.

Kathmandu District Court Judge Tej Bahadur Khadka's bench ordered his release on bail on both charges. A case was registered against him for a document-related offense and a drug-related offense. According to the court's information officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha, a bail of five hundred thousand rupees has been demanded from him for the document-related offense.

Similarly, a bail of 20 thousand rupees was demanded for the drug-related offense.

Dawa himself contacted the police after the video of him showing weapons went viral after the Gen-G movement.

Arrested for the crime of indecent behavior, he was also investigated for citizenship. However, after finding fault with his citizenship, further investigation was carried out and an investigation was also initiated for the citizenship-related offense. After completing the investigation, the police submitted the case to the government prosecutor's office a few days ago.

The government prosecutor's office, Kathmandu, had registered the case in the court. The bail order was issued after the case was closed.
