The Supreme Court has issued an interim order not to implement its decision to take action against Kanchan Bichha, a member of parliament from Madhesh Province, who had not taken oath as a minister in support of Saroj Kumar Yadav, who became the Chief Minister from the UML.

The RPP had taken action against her after she became a minister despite the party's lack of support. After the RPP suspended Provincial Assembly member Bichha for violating party discipline, she approached the Supreme Court.

A single bench of Justice Balkrishna Dhakal issued an interim order. The Supreme Court's interim order has cleared the way for Bichha to return to the Provincial Assembly.
