Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru has called on Prime Minister Sushila Karki. Ambassador Toru paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Karki at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Sihanoukville on Friday to discuss the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Nepal-Japan relations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Toru praised the government's resolve to hold elections on time. He also said that the Japanese government is ready to provide the necessary assistance the government desires. Prime Minister Karki thanked Japan for its support in various sectors, including Nepal's development, and expressed confidence that cooperation and harmony would continue in the coming days.
