Industrialist Hukum Chand Dugad has passed away. 85-year-old Dugad passed away at his residence in Kathmandu on Wednesday. He was the father of industrialist Vijay Dugad.

His family has informed that his last rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Thursday. The late Dugad is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.

Born in 1940 in the industrial environment of Biratnagar, Dugad had a passion for industry and business since childhood. Since his early days, he was interested in machinery and construction, so he did a lot of work in the field of innovation. He has established and operated various industries during his lifetime. His role in creating production and employment by establishing industries through hard work was remarkable.

Dugad contributed throughout his life to creating opportunities, empowering others and contributing to the economy through industry and innovation. Known as a multi-talented entrepreneur, he always preferred to stay out of the limelight and remained dedicated to the industry.
